The Engineering Department provides professional assistance to the various Township departments such as the Planning Board, as well as technical support for Township homeowners and developers. The Department of Zoning and Housing Enforcement is responsible for the enforcement and maintenance of the Township’s Land Use Regulations enacted by the Township’s Committee. Department of Zoning & Housing Enforcement.The Construction Department is responsible for enforcing the regulations of the State Uniform Construction Code, which was established by the State of New Jersey to ensure that new construction (commercial, industrial, and residential) adheres to minimum standards of workmanship and safety. The Township Clerk's Office is responsible for the recording, preparation, and safe keeping of the official minutes of the Township Committee meetings and other official records of the Township, including resolutions and ordinances. The Administrator directs and coordinates all departments and serves as the Township Personnel Officer.
